Bathroom vanity
This is a custom bathroom vanity I built for a complete bathroom renovation I recently completed. The carcass is built from MDF with the edges reinforced with yellow poplar. Carefully painted with several coats of gloss oil paint, it should stand up to bathroom use.

Custom vanity, painted white with Jatoba wood counter.

The vanity top is made from Jatoba hardwood. The wood is finished on all surfaces with polyurethane satin varnish. The top surface had seven coats applied for durability.

The drawers feature full extension ball bearing, and self closing slides. The drawer boxes are made from baltic birch plywood with white melamine bottoms.

The vanity doors are frame and panel with adjustable European hinges.

Two of the three 4 foot wide glass block windows I built and installed. I ordered custom vinyl frames that hold the glass block inserts, and give the window a weather proof exterior. The interior framing is built from western red cedar. The blocks obscure the view in or out, but make for beautiful light paterns when the sun shines through.
