James Nicholson could be described as a multidisciplinary generalist. Trained originally in Electronics Technology, he also studied cabinet making early in his working career. Additional experience and training over the years included house framing, interior finishing, working as an electrician’s apprentice and some very successful home plumbing projects. For 7 years he owned a set of 80 year old apartment flats, and a Hydrostone townhouse in the north end of Halifax, and completed virtually all the maintenance and renovations himself.¬† He owns a fully equipped woodworking shop, that enables him to create special details that make the difference between a good job and an exceptional job.
